Breguet Marine Mens Watch

Availability:2 in stock

The Breguet Marine traces its origins back to a time when Breguet supplied marine chronometers to the French Royal Navy beginning in 1815. At the time Breguet was the most famous watchmaker in the world, having invented and patented the Tourbillon. The Marine series has had many iterations, always nodding to its nautical origins. This robust yet elegant Breguet Marine watch is characteristic of fine timepieces with regards to style and functionality, embodying the essentials of timekeeping with hours, minutes and central seconds hands in blued steel. The chronograph function provides the minute counter hand with luminous diamond head tip as well as the subdials found at 6 and 9 o’clock marks for 12 hours and small seconds respectively. As backdrop, the silvery dial is hand-Guilloched in a pattern that evokes ocean waves. As a further nod to the nautical decorative elements, blued steel Roman numerals denote the hours, while Arabic numerals in the surrounds provide minutes, all of which are protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The Marine is ostensibly a sports watch, and 100 meters of water resistance ensures that this precious timepiece remains airtight. Mounted on a black rubber strap and deployant buckle, the distinctive 42 mm case is made of 18K white gold with a screw-locked crown. 48 hours of power reserve.
