This Chopard L.U.C model is available in a limited and numbered edition of 250 pieces worldwide. The Chopard L.U.C Regulator model keeps in the grand tradition of precision clocks. The first model was introduced in 2006, miniturizing a regulator-type mechanism to wristwatch size. Regulator-style watch dials are typified by having a different dial for the hours, minutes, and seconds. The main dial is used to indicate the minutes and subdials are used for the hours and seconds. This comes from historic regulator clocks which were intended to be very precise clocks used to set other clocks.
The L.U.C Regulator features a manual-winding COSC movement and Chronometer certification, along with the prestigious Seal of Geneva. Aside from its impeccable precision, the harmonious design of this model features a 39.5mm 18 Carat White Gold case with, a silvered dial with a deep sunburst pattern guilloche design with a flat black outer rim. Polished white gold Arabic Numeral & Index markers.White gold hands. sapphire crystal back, silver and black dial, small hour hand, 24 hour counter, and power reserve indicator, with approximately 216 hours of power reserve.
